Notes to self: allow the in between times to be ok. You don’t have to do anything. Remember you are held. You are not alone. Float and drift... you’re headed in the right direction. Let the currents move you, like a jelly fish. Pay attention. Follow your instincts, follow your flow. You know what to do. Listen. Wait. Float. Suspended. Let yourself be guided. Get curious about this moment. And then this moment. And then this moment. You are ok. Everything is as it should be. Floating is active, not passive. Floating is being. Floating is allowing. Floating is receiving. You are right where you’re meant to be. (Here's the full message I wrote when I painted it.)

My life changed dramatically in August 2018 when my husband suddenly died and then again in January 2019 when my baby girl was born. Creating nearly daily art has been one of the main ways I've tuned in to my feelings and to myself as I've moved forward. Sharing the art that I've been making and the messages I've been giving to myself has been a powerfully healing part of my journey, and I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to share my images and thoughts with you.
