WOOHOO, YOU'RE IN!
Welcome, friend – I'm so happy you're joining me here for this expansive mini class. I hope this art adventure will feel like coming home to yourself and that this'll be just the beginning of you using art-making as a tool for taking exquisite care of yourself. :)
You'll find this mini class inside my learning space, which is hosted on the amazing Circle platform. You'll be prompted to create a Circle account if you don't already have one (it's totally FREE!), and then you'll be on your way to Lesson 1!
Here are some commonly asked questions
Do I have to be an artist to take this mini class?
Nope!
Complete beginners, experienced artists, and everyone in between are all welcome in this mini class. The lessons and guidance aren't geared toward instruction in specific art-making techniques, but instead are meant to help you discover and express your true, authentic self, whatever that might look like.
What your artwork looks like doesn't actually matter here – the inner experience is what's the most important. If you end up liking what you create, that's a lovely bonus!
What supplies will I need?
You don't need anything specific in order to participate in this mini class. A simple pencil and paper will work, or you can use your favorite, fanciest supplies. It's up to you!
Throughout the 5 lessons, I'll demonstrate my art-making process using several different types of supplies and techniques – markers in a sketchbook, paint on a wood panel, and digitally on my iPad Pro. The focus in this mini class is on the internal process and not on teaching specific techniques using specific supplies. It's also not about what your finished art looks like.
The supplies you choose to use don't have to be fancy or complicated. A sketchbook and a pencil is enough. Using lots of different supplies is welcome too, of course! You can use as many or as few different types of supplies as you'd like here.
You have permission here to do things your own way. To explore. To play. To get messy. To not know what you're doing. To make ugly things. To make beautiful things. To feel free like a child in your art-making.
When does the class start?
Whenever you want it to start! It's on-demand, self-paced, and available for you whenever you're ready to begin.
You'll have immediate access to all 5 lessons as soon as you sign up.
I recommend working through the lessons over the course of 5 days (1 lesson per day), but you can do them all in one sitting, you can space them out over a longer stretch of time, or you can use the same prompts for multiple days. It's up to you!
