Hello, February!

Where in the world did January go?!

I had a productive and inspired one, which is maybe why it felt like it zoomed by – I designed a new fabric collection, created a series of new paintings, created a membership club (that launches next week!), created my first-ever Reel on Instagram (and enjoyed it so much I made a second one!), worked on a secret project that I can't share yet, my baby girl turned THREE... it was a full month.

In the both/and that is life, though, things have also been chaotic in multiple ways recently. For starters, my website went down for a day. Like, not functioning at all. And my email, too! Argh! I've also gotten to have the sewer replaced in our house and currently have a giant hole in the basement floor and also outside in the front yard, and little G is currently home with a cough that I'm crossing my fingers is not covid (we are awaiting test results). (Edited to add: it wasn't covid!)

Mercury has been in retrograde the past few weeks, and if you are someone who believes in this kind of thing (like me!) you may know that it notoriously affects travel, communication, electronics, and things like that. That certainly seems to be the case for me this time around, haha! I'm trying to roll with it all as best I can, accepting what comes and going with the flow instead of thinking things should be some other way.

Life is always exciting around here. 🤣

Anyway! Now that we are in February I'm very excited that my brand new Patreon Rainbow Feel Good Club is starting up next week on February 7! 

🌈 The heart of this club will be nearly-daily dose of realness, honesty, encouragement, and uplifting. Art + words, directly from me to you. Depending on your membership level, you will either receive one of these posts per week, or every single post that I share.

Life can be hard, and we all need a hand sometimes. I've created the Rainbow Feel Good Club to be that hand that we all need sometimes. This club is where you can come for a good dose of realness, honestly, encouragement, uplifting, and connection. My intention is that you'll pick up some hope in the Rainbow Feel Good Club and that you'll feel a little bit less alone.

Today I shared a welcome post for everyone who's already a member, with a free downloadable digital wallpaper for your computer and your phone. An uplifting + colorful way to start the month!

For the months of February and March, my original paintings will be on display and available for sale at Plural Collective here in Portland. AND, this Friday February 4 they're having a First Friday gallery opening and I'll be there! If you're in Portland, I'd love to meet you.
