I'm so excited that you said YES to participating in this week-long online art event!
My goal for this art event is to create an inspiring, warm, welcoming online space for artists of all skill levels to gather, learn, connect, and explore their inner worlds through making art. My aim is to make it feel like an oasis – a creative sanctuary – where participants can come to find inspiration and connection, to quiet their busy minds, to escape the noise and stress, to process their feelings and experiences, and, most importantly, spend time getting their hands messy and being creative. My goal is to help all the participating artists grow their email lists and expand their audiences. If all goes well, I’d love to make this an annual event!

How It Works
Art Oasis will run from October 18-24, 2025 and will center around the topic of art-making + intuition, and art for self-care.
There will be 3-4 creative sessions each day for 7 days. Each session will be approximately 1 hour long. The event will be a dynamic mix of technical art lessons, intuitive art lessons, rich conversation, and inspiration. The days will include both live sessions and pre-recorded sessions/lessons.
Sessions will be released each day at 7am, 10am, 1pm, and 4pm (all times listed are Pacific Time).
Each participating artist who is also contributing a VIP bonus will get a unique affiliate link to use when promoting the event. Affiliates will receive 50% of the sales associated with your affiliate link.
We'll provide sample email copy, social media copy, and share images/social media graphics as the promotional dates get closer – we'll keep you posted when everything is ready for you!
As a participating artist, you're agreeing to send out at least 1 solo email to your email list and at least 2 social media posts about the event, but you can absolutely promote more than that! Whatever makes sense for you and your audience. The more you share, the more you can potentially grow your email list and earn $ as an affiliate.
During the promotion phase, during the week where the event is running, and until October 31, 2025, we’ll be sharing about the VIP Pass as well. The VIP is awesome because it will give people forever access to all the event lessons and recordings as well as all the additional artist bonuses. It's a good idea to direct people to the VIP pass in your own promotions!

1 Art Session (approx 1 hour in length)
There are a few different options for structuring your lesson:
- A pre-recorded art-making session on Zoom with me during which you’ll teach me the lesson and we’ll both make art
- A live art-making session with me during the event, during which you’ll teach me the lesson and we’ll both make art. (No pre-recording)
- A pre-recorded solo lesson, just you (no session with me)

STEP 1
Choose your Art Session style
You have several choices!
All sessions will be approximately 1 hour.
- Pre-record a session with me on Zoom. You will teach your lesson to me, and I'll make art alongside you (or in the background) as you teach.
- Live session with me on Zoom during the event. Same format as option 1, just live instead of pre-recorded.
- Pre-record a solo lesson. No Zooming involved!
- You may have received an invitation to participate specifically in the Cozy Conversations portion of Art Oasis – if this is the case, you won't be recording an art lesson but will be recording a conversation with me!
All pre-recorded lessons are due by September 1.

STEP 2
Submit your Artist Info
Bio, website url, social media links, yada yada. You know the drill!
We'll also ask for your session/art lesson style choice from Step 1 in this form, and you'll schedule your Zoom session with Jessica in this step as well, if applicable.
*If you were asked to be in the Cozy Conversations portion of Art Oasis, please choose that as your session type choice and schedule a time to record on Zoom with me.

Sign the Artist Agreement

Please fill out this info no matter what session type you're choosing, even if you're doing a pre-recorded or a live session with me during the event!
STEP 5
Submit your Free Gift and VIP bonus
Remember: this is optional, but it's highly recommended! This is what will help you earn affiliate sales and grow your audience even more!

STEP 6
Promote and participate in Art Oasis!
PROMO PERIOD: September 23-October 18, 2025
We'll be working to create graphics and copy that you can use to promote the event and we'll share all ths with you in early September.
All contributors will be asked to do the following to promote the event:
- Send at least ONE SOLO EMAIL to your entire email list
- Share at least TWO posts on social media
During the event
There's not a lot to do during the event except enjoy the event once it's begun! You can keep sharing on social media and via email once they event has started if you'd like (people like to join things late sometimes, and this can be a good way to direct people to the VIP pass as well!), but really all you'll be asked to do is engage with event participants in the private community on the day of your art session/lesson.
You don't have to participate in the other artists' sessions, but you're encouraged to because it will be FUN and inspiring! You'll also get a VIP pass, so you can watch at your convenience after the event is over.
ART SESSION/LESSON DETAILS
Our intention for this inaugural Art Oasis event is to create an inspiring, uplifting, supportive space where people can come to make art, learn new techniques, tune into their own inner wisdom, and to be inspired by artists working in a wide variety of ways. We really want to lean into the idea of art-making and creativity being an oasis. A sanctuary. A way to take good care of your heart, spirit, and whole self.
The general theme of the event is Art For Self-Care, and for your art session/lesson, we want you to do your thing! Using art as a tool for self-care can be interpreted and practiced in a lot of different ways, and we want you to share your wisdom, your techniques, and your unique and quirky creative practice.
How do YOU use art as a way to help yourself feel better? What brings you joy? What do you love to share with people? What do you already teach? This is what we want!
Your lesson might be more technical, or it might be more intuitive... it might be playful and loose or it might be a bit more refined and detailed. We just want your authentic creative self to shine through, whatever that looks like for you!
We'd like you to plan for your lesson to be approximately 1 hour, but a bit shorter or longer is definitely ok.

Here are more details on each lesson/session type:
- You can choose to record your lesson on Zoom with me, where you will share your screen and teach your lesson and optionally have me create in the background and share what I created during your lesson at the end.
- Another option is to do the same thing, but do it LIVE during the event. No pre-recording.
- You may choose to record your own solo lesson instead (no recording on Zoom with me involved at all).
- If we asked you to do a Cozy Conversation, this will be a juicy pre-recorded conversation with me on Zoom! We'll talk about things like: what creativity looks like in your life, what practices and rituals you have, creative pivots you've made, how art has helped you heal, etc.

Benefits of participating
Affiliate info
As a contributing artist you'll also be invited to be an affiliate for Art Oasis. While the event itself is free, event participants will also have the option to purchase a VIP pass and get extra bonuses, forever-access to the sessions/lessons, and more.
Affiliates will earn 50% of all VIP pass sales that come through your unique link.
This is a great way to earn some extra income! You'll be invited via email to create an affiliate account in September, before the promotional period begins. Payouts will be made via Paypal in mid-November 2025.
