Registration for my online course, Pattern Camp, is open today! I thought you’d like to know.

Especially because this time around Pattern Camp has partnered up with Zazzle to help Pattern Camp participants take their new pattern design skills and turn them into gorgeous patterned products to sell to an audience of millions. There will be fun competitions, chances to be featured on the Zazzle homepage, and more!

Sounds awesome, right? If you are an aspiring pattern designer and/or someone who wants to open you r own online store and sell products with your designs on them, you won’t want to miss this. Full details will be revealed during the upcoming April session of the course.

After the last session of Pattern Camp in late January, I started a Pattern Camp Weekly Challenge. I give the Campers a new theme each week around which to design new patterns, and then I round them up on the Pattern Camp blog. Check them out! If you can even believe it, some of these people had never touched Illustrator or Photoshop before taking Pattern Camp. (If this is an excuse that’s holding you back from taking the course, I say pish! Sign up anyway. There are always LOTS of total newbies in the course. You won’t be alone! Consider that you might be able to to learn more than you think you can, and more quickly…. it happens during every class!) You, too, could be designing patterns based on this fun variety of weekly themes. (And hint: the Zazzle collaboration might have something to do with this…!)

Head on over to the Pattern Camp website for full course details and to sign up.

You can use the code APRILCAMPHEREICOME to get $30 off your registration, just for being a blog reader here. :) This code is good for the next 3 days only, through March 17, 2016 (midnight PST).
