I’ve been working behind the scenes the past couple of weeks to get all my animal totem paintings ready for their big debut in my shop next Wednesday August 17 (my birthday).

I had them all photographed and made beautiful by Kaïa Kirkbride, my fantastic intern, and I’m excited to share those images with you next week.

I also took a few shots myself the other day:

I made stickers for the back of each painting with each animal’s energy description. I think it adds a really awesome element to each one. If yo’ve been following along on Instagram, you’ll know that I share this info with each animal that I post, so it was important for me to include it with each painting that will be sent out into the world.

You’ll also be able to read this info in each painting description in my shop, so you can find the totem animal that’s just right for you!

I have these awesome clips that I got at the most amazing store in Portland a few years ago, Cargo; I use them in the living room to hang some paintings on paper that I got in Oaxaca a few years back. I thought they’d be perfect to hang the animal paintings, and I was right! I love this method. Check it out:

I’m pretty obsessed. Also, that’s my painting wall, and I think it’s the perfect backdrop. Doesn’t it look cool?

111 original paintings will be in the sale.

They will be $100 each.

They are 8×10″, acrylic and colored pencil on 1/8″ birch or hardwood panel, unframed.

You can prop them on a mantle, hang them with clips, put them on your desk next to your computer, frame them up…. lots of options for these critters.

The sale will start in my shop on Wednesday August 17, 2016 at noon PST. (An animal totem painting category will appear in the shop that day.)

Print versions of each animal painting will be available in my shop 2 weeks later, on Wednesday August 31, 2016.

I am so excited to share these with you, to see who scoops up which totem, to send them lovingly on their way to new homes….. it’s going to be a fun day.

Let me know if you have any questions! I hope you’re excited, too. Scroll through my Instagram feed to see all of them, read about the animal energies, and start finding your totem(s)!
